Here's Kerry yesterday, referring to the weapons that through some process of divination he is certain were lost after U.S. troops conquered Iraq: "Terrorists could use this material to kill our troops, our people, blow up our airplanes and level buildings."

So the current operational definition of weapons of mass destruction, courtesy of the Kerry campaign appears to be as follows: any weapon that can kill lots of people which was not in Iraq prior to the American invasion, or which was in Iraq, but which Helmet Head can blame Bush for losing. Any weapons capable of killing lots of people which were in Iraq prior to the invasion but were seized and/or destroyed by U.S. troops don't count, of course.
