2) The only people who oppose stem cell research are big meanies who want Superman to remain in a wheelchair because they are twisted, bitter, cruel troglodytes who enjoy watching sensitive brave people suffer; and
3) Christopher would want you to vote for Kerry.
I had the misfortune of watching a rerun of Paula Zahn's 2003 interview with Reeve. Note that CNN's website describes Paula as follows:
Paula Zahn, one of television's most direct, most incisive and most intelligent interviewers, goes face-to-face with the key people who have something to say about the stories and issues that really matter.
In the interview, of course, direct incisive intelligent Paula never once explained the reasoning of those opposed to stem cell research and asked Reeve to answer their objections. Regardless of one's opinion on this issue, it seems like it would be worth asking, no?
Well, no, at least according to Paula. So with Reeve's death here was the chance to replay the ridiculous interview, just to make the point clear: mean Republicans led by W wanted Reeve to remain crippled. Just remember that when you go to the polls, you could almost hear Zahn say.
